Regular Maintenance

Chapter 8 · Manual page 312

The safety, reliability and performance of your vehicle will depend partly on how well it is maintained. You must maintain your vehicle according to the requirements in the Owner’s Handbook.

If the vehicle is not maintained or the displayed values are not reset after maintenance, the maintenance display cannot provide correct information.

Maintenance History After each maintenance, always ask the Authorised Repairer to register the maintenance. Brake Fluid Replacement Replace the brake fluid according to the requirements in the Owner’s Handbook.

Additional cost may be incurred for replacement of the brake fluid.

Coolant Replacement The coolant (anti-freeze and water solution) should be replaced according to the requirements in the Owner’s Handbook.

Additional cost may be incurred for coolant replacement.

Special Maintenance If your vehicle is frequently used in dusty conditions, or operated in extreme climates where sub-zero or very high ambient temperatures are normal, more frequent attention may need to be paid to maintenance requirements. You should carry out special maintenance (refer to Owner’s Handbook) or contact an Authorised Repairer.

Any significant or sudden drop in fluid levels, or uneven tyre wear, should be reported without delay to an Authorised Repairer and checked immediately.
