Adjustment of Target Speed
Chapter 5 · Manual page 252
When the adaptive cruise control system is active:
- Use the accelerator pedal to reach the desired speed, and fully pull down the shift lever, the vehicle will cruise at the desired speed.
- Move the upper adjustment paddle on the left of steering wheel (1) and hold, the target speed will increase until the desired set speed appears on the instrument pack, and then release the paddle. When it is confirmed that there is no vehicle ahead or the vehicle ahead is beyond the pre-selected following distance, the vehicle speed can be increased to the set speed.
- Move the lower adjustment paddle on the left of steering wheel (2) and hold, the target speed will decrease until the desired set speed appears on the instrument pack, then release the paddle, and the speed will decrease to the set speed.
- When adjusting the target speed with the adjustment paddle, the target speed is changed by 5mph (8km/h) each time the paddle is moved briefly; when moving the paddle and holding, the target speed will increase or decrease at a change rate of 1mph (1km/h) until the paddle is released.
