Chapter 1 · Manual page 13
- Ensure Park (P) is selected and turn off the vehicle power supply.
- To avoid electric shock DO NOT touch any exposed wiring or high voltage components.
- If the vehicle is on fire and the fire is small and slow, a carbon dioxide extinguisher can be used to put out the fire, contact the fire department as soon as possible. In cases of larger fires, the user should immediately evacuate and stay a safe distance away from the vehicle and contact the fire department.
- In accidents involving collisions, the vehicle must not be re-started and the 12V low-voltage battery negative terminal and the manual service disconnect should be disconnected before rescue.
- When the vehicle is completely or partially submerged in water, the user should switch off the power supply and evacuate the vehicle immediately. The 12V low-voltage battery negative terminal and the manual service disconnect should be disconnected before transporting the damaged vehicle. If there is no hissing or foaming from the high-voltage battery pack of the water-logged vehicle, it can be salvaged by a professional agency. Any rescue attempts must be suspended until the hissing and foaming has ceased in order to reduce the risk of electric shock.
- After rescue, the damaged vehicle and high-voltage battery pack must be handled correctly and by qualified personnel, contact an Authorised Repairer for advice on process and disposal.
- The vehicle is provided with a rescue information card. Please present this card to the rescue personnel when they arrive.
- If the accident causes severe damage to the vehicle body, and it is necessary to conduct cutting, welding and paint spraying of body panels, in order to avoid damage to the high-voltage battery pack, please contact an Authorised Repairer for advice on any related operations after the removal of the high-voltage battery pack.
