Activation and Deactivation of Full-speed Driver Assistance System

When the following conditions are met:

• The full-speed driver assistance system switch on the entertainment display is on;
• The system recognizes clear lane lines on both sides;
• The vehicle is in Drive gear;
• The electronic parking brake is released;
• Four doors, bonnet and tailgate are closed;
• The seat belt is fastened;
• The brake pedal is not pressed;
• The relevant systems are fully functional and fault free;
• The speed should be above 0mph (0km/h) if there is a vehicle ahead; the speed should be above 6mph (10km/h) if there is no vehicle ahead. The full-speed driver assistance system can be activated by fully pulling down the shift lever. After successful activation, the indicator light of the full-speed driver assistance system on the instrument pack will be illuminated, and its target speed is the actual speed at activation (if your vehicle speed is less than 19mph (30km/h), the target speed of the system is set at 19mph (30km/h)). If the speed of the vehicle ahead is greater than the target speed of your vehicle, your vehicle will maintain the target speed; if the speed of the vehicle ahead is less than the target speed of your vehicle, your vehicle will enter the car-following mode and follow the vehicle ahead to a stop. If the stop time is less than 90 seconds, your vehicle will automatically start off to follow the vehicle ahead, otherwise the driver needs to restore the full-speed driver assistance system according to the instrument pack prompt; if the car-following stop lasts for more than 10 minutes, the full-speed driver assistance function will exit. When the system detects that the driver is not holding the steering wheel continuously for a preset period of time, it will provide warnings to prompt the driver. If the steering wheel is not held for a preset period of time, the system will automatically exit and the seat belt will vibrate. If the full-speed driver assistance system needs to be activated again, please follow the prompts on the instrument pack.
