Brake Pads
Chapter 8 · Manual page 322
DO NOT rest your foot on the brake pedal while driving; this may overheat the brakes, reduce their efficiency and cause excessive wear to the brake components!
The free stroke of brake pedal is in the range of 030 mm.
Reasonable usage scope of brake friction pair: not less than 2mm thickness for brake pads, 2830mm for front brake discs, and 23~25mm for rear brake discs.
For the first 900 miles (1500 km), you should avoid situations where heavy braking is required.
Please ensure that all the brake components are examined for wear at the correct intervals, and replaced when necessary to ensure long-term safety during the interval prescribed according to the requirements in the warranty and maintenance manual.
The vehicle needs to run in for 500 miles (800 km) after the brake pads or discs have been replaced.
