One Touch Park

Chapter 5 · Manual page 232

One Touch Park can assist the driver in automatically parking the car into a parking slot recognized by the system that has lines on the ground or is unoccupied beside any car. The system supports an intelligent parking-in function for perpendicular or parallel parking slots. If the parking slot has a clear marking line and enjoys good lighting conditions, the system can also complete the detection of the parking slot without using reference objects on both sides of the parking slot. If a fault or a system failure is detected, the system function is unavailable, and the vehicle will give a corresponding prompt. System Operation During parking, please follow the prompts on the central screen. Make sure the following conditions are met before parking:

  • No system fault or failure is detected;
  • All doors, bonnet and tailgate/boot are closed. Note: After pressing “Start Parking”, please do not release the brake pedal until the system prompts “Please Release Brake”. Parking-in Operation
  1. When the speed is below 12mph (20km/h), enable the automatic parking assist function through the “One Touch Parking” in the main interface of the central screen, and the system begins to search for a parking slot.
  2. After a parking slot is identified, you should press the brake pedal to stop the car safely. You may then select the parking slot as needed on the central screen, and start automatic parking after confirmation.
  3. The system prompts successful parking. Note: After the system identifies a parking slot, if the vehicle is driven out of range, the system will search for a parking slot again. Interruption or Exit
  • In the process of searching for parking slots, when the speed is above 16mph (25km/h), the system will skip to the APA main interface.
  • During the parking process, if you intervene with the steering wheel, the system will exit.
  • During the parking process, if you intervene by changing gear selection, the system will exit.
  • During the parking process, if you open the door, the system will be temporarily suspended; after the door is closed, you may operate on the central screen to resume parking.
  • During the parking process, if you intervene with the braking, the system interrupts; after the brake is released, you may operate on the central screen to resume parking.
  • During the parking process, if there are any other abnormalities, the system will exit. Note: The system prompt messages are individual to the type of vehicle.
