Blind Spot Warning
Chapter 5 · Manual page 242
The blind spot warning includes two active safety assist functions, Blind Spot Detection (BSD) and Lane Change Assist (LCA), which are intended to alert the driver of vehicles located in blind spots at the rear and side of your vehicle, providing assistance in multi-lane codirection traffic conditions.
The Blind Spot Detection (BSD) alerts the driver of the vehicles in the blind spot of your vehicle (1) the Lane Change Assist (LCA) alerts the driver of the vehicles approaching quickly with a potential collision risk in the adjacent lanes (2).
During the process (when vehicle speed is above 9mph (15km/h)), when the system detects that there is a car in the blind area of the exterior rearview mirror or an approaching car behind in the adjacent lane.the corresponding side alarm illuminates. If the direction indicator on the same side is selected at this time, the warning light will blink, alerting the driver that it is dangerous to continue changing lanes.
