Parking Assist System
Chapter 5 · Manual page 227
The ultrasonic radars on the front and rear bumpers monitor the front and rear areas of the vehicle to search for obstacles. If an obstacle is detected, the system will calculate its distance from the vehicle and warn the driver to avoid the collision with a warning tone. The radar warning tone can be turned on and off through the 360 AVM Settings interface. When the vehicle is traveling at a low speed, the parking assist system automatically starts to work. When a rear obstacle is detected, the driver screen will display the distance of the vehicle from the obstacle to remind the driver. The system is turned off when the speed exceeds 9mph (15km/h). Note: After R gear is selected, if the ultrasonic radar fault message pops up on the driver screen, it indicates a system failure, please contact an Authorised Repairer for service. With the parking assist system function enabled, if an obstacle is detected, the system will give warning sounds in different frequencies. (there might be blind zones)

- If an obstacle is detected within 105 cm from the rear of the vehicle or within 60 cm from the corner of the vehicle, the warning sound commences. As the car moves closer to the obstacle, the warning sounds are transmitted more rapidly.
- If an obstacle is detected within 105 cm from the front of the vehicle or within 60 cm from the corner of the vehicle, the warning sound commences. As the car moves closer to the obstacle, the warning sounds are transmitted more rapidly.
- Once the obstacle is within 30 cm of the front and rear bumpers, the warning sounds will merge into a continuous sound. If both the vehicle and the obstacle are stationary, the warning sound will stop 3s later.
