Rear Wheel Power Steering System

Chapter 2 · Manual page 59

The rear wheel power steering system operates via a motor. When the vehicle is started, the steering power is automatically adjusted according to the vehicle speed and steering wheel angle to provide various different steering angles. Compared with vehicles without rear wheel power steering function, when the vehicle with this function runs at low speed, the rear wheels steer in the reverse direction relative to the front wheel, which improves the ability to make a turn or turn around at low speed; when the vehicle runs at high speed, the rear heels steer in the same direction as the front wheels, which improves the vehicle stability during lane change.

DO NOT add excessive loads to the loadspace. Excessive rear axle load will lead to sluggish response of rear wheel power steering, which would make it prone to excessive motor noise!
