Charging Time
Chapter 4 · Manual page 154
The charging time of the high-voltage battery pack is related to many factors, such as current battery level, charging mode, ambient temperature and charging device power. Fast charging time At room temperature, the time taken to charge to 80% (instrument pack capacity information) from alarm status (high-voltage battery pack low battery warning lamp alarms) is shown in the table below.
| Fast charging method | DC charging station - 800V | DC charging station - 400V |
|---|---|---|
| From alarm status to 80% | 20 minutes | 30 minutes |
- At low and extreme high temperatures, the charging time will be extended.
- If the charging device has an insufficient output capability, the charging time will be extended.
Considering the safety and service life of the high-voltage battery pack, the battery pack may not be fully charged when a fast charging station is used; therefore, the battery level displayed on the instrument will be less than 100%. Please select a reasonable charging mode based on your vehicle usage plan.
Slow charging time At room temperature, the time taken to charge to 100% (instrument pack capacity information) from alarm status (high-voltage battery pack low battery warning lamp alarms) is shown in the table below.
| Slow charging method | AC wired charging station - 11kW | |
|---|---|---|
| 100kWh | 75kWh | |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) | Approximately 11.5 hours | Approximately 8.5 hours |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) and equalised | Approximately 13.5 hours | Approximately 10.5 hours |
| Complete equalisation charge before the first use of a long-time parked vehicle | Approximately 15.5 hours | Approximately 12.5 hours |
| Slow charging method | AC wired charging station - 7kW | |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 100kWh | 75kWh | |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) | Approximately 16.5 hours | Approximately 12.5 hours |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) and equalised | Approximately 18.5 hours | Approximately 14.5 hours |
| Complete equalisation charge before the first use of a long-time parked vehicle | Approximately 20.5 hours | Approximately 16.5 hours |
| Slow charging method | AC wired charging station - 2.2kW | |
| --- | --- | --- |
| 100kWh | 75kWh | |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) | Approximately 51 hours | Approximately 36 hours |
| From alarm status to fully charged (100%) and equalised | Approximately 52 hours | Approximately 37 hours |
| Complete equalisation charge before the first use of a long-time parked vehicle | Approximately 54 hours | Approximately 39 hours |
- At low temperatures, the charging time will be extended.
- If an equalisation charging has not been conducted for a long time, the required charge time will be extended.
- An equalisation charging should be carried out before the first use of the vehicle after storage for long periods, and the charging time will be extended appropriately on the basis of the corresponding charging time taken to carry out a full equalisation charge.
