One Touch Side

Chapter 5 · Manual page 237

When the user stops the vehicle and the vehicle is stationary, the user can enable the one touch side parking function to make the vehicle complete a lateral , or parallel manoeuvre to the left/right side using front/rear steps of 15cm, until the vehicle moved into the parallel parking place. Tip: The current one touch side parking function is designed for scenarios using reference objects such as curbs and walls. After completing a lateral manoeuvre to left or right using forward and rearward steps of 15 cm, the vehicle will be aligned and parallel to the reference object (If the angle between the rear and the reference object is about 18.3° or the angle between the front and the reference object is about 6.1°, the one touch side parking function can work normally); if there is no appropriate reference object, the lateral manoeuvre of the vehicle to the left or right using forward and rearward steps of 15 cm will be carried out (the position of the body after the initial approach is consistent with that of before the approach). Before using the one touch side parking function, the user must keep the body as parallel to the surrounding reference object (such as curbs and walls) as possible. It is recommended to use the one touch side parking function when the distance is greater than 20cm from the curb and greater than 40cm from the wall, and the total distance (from the front of the vehicle to the vehicle ahead + from the rear of the vehicle to the vehicle behind) is greater than 1.5m.
